A New Digital Home for the Charleston Symphony

Watch. Listen. Discover. Welcome to the Charleston Symphony's Reimagined Website.

Meet Your Symphony, Online.

With a new season just around the corner, we’re opening the doors to something else new: a completely reimagined charlestonsymphony.org. But this project was never simply about giving our website a new look. We set out to create a digital home that better reflects what the Charleston Symphony is today and gives audiences more ways to experience it. Because while concerts will always be at the heart of what we do, there is so much more to the story.

There are performances worth hearing again. Musicians and guest artists worth getting to know. Rehearsals, conversations, creative processes, and unexpected moments that happen beyond the stage. There are education programs, community partnerships, and stories unfolding throughout Charleston that are all part of what it means to be your Symphony.

Our new website was built to give those stories a home.

Rather than creating another performing arts website centered primarily around what’s playing next, we built a platform around content, exploration, and discovery. A place where you might come to purchase a concert ticket, then stay to watch a performance, meet a musician, read a story, or discover something you didn’t know about the orchestra.

Where to Start

Not sure where to begin? Here are a few places to start:

Meet Our Musicians
Explore Orchestra > Musicians to meet the 25 core musicians at the heart of the Charleston Symphony.
Upcoming Concerts
Head to Concerts > Upcoming when you’re ready to see what’s next onstage.
Watch & Listen
Find it under Concerts > Watch & Listen

Our new Watch & Listen Library brings together a growing collection of Charleston Symphony performances, audio recordings, Offstage interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and more. Revisit something you heard in the concert hall or discover a performance you missed entirely. Here are a few examples:

There is always more happening behind the music. Here, we’ll share stories about our musicians and guest artists, performances, community partnerships, education programs, special projects, and the people who bring the Charleston Symphony to life.

And throughout the new site, you’ll find richer concert information, expanded artist and musician pages, education and community resources, and more opportunities to explore the orchestra on your own terms.

Just the Beginning

Most importantly, this website isn’t finished.

It was intentionally created as a dynamic, continuously growing online home for the Charleston Symphony. Throughout the season, we’ll add new performances to the library, introduce you to more of our musicians and people, take you behind the scenes, share stories from our community, and continue finding new ways to bring the Symphony closer to you.

So start exploring. Listen. Watch. Come back often.

There’s always more to discover.

This is your Symphony.
