The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL) inspires the love of live music by providing major financial support for the Charleston Symphony, investing in talented musicians of all ages, and advocating for music appreciation throughout the Charleston community.
Learn More About CSOLThe CSOL has consistently been the largest institutional donor to the CSO, having donated nearly $5.5 million since 2000. League members share their talents and expertise by contributing thousands of hours in planning and producing a wide variety of special projects. They include festive Revels parties, car sponsorships, plus house tours, including the League’s annual “Island Tour of Homes”, the Swing Fore the Symphony golf tournament, and so much more.
Volunteers are needed to Chair or Co-Chair Charleston Symphony fundraising events and/or be part of a committee to assist with planning and coordinating. Examples of events include: The Rhapsody Raffle, Symphony Island Tour of Homes, the Art Serenade, and Revels - social events that include members and guests.
Recruitment and orientation of members, orchestrating New Member Orientation which includes a tour of the Gaillard and Mix and Mingle with the Musicians, coordinating the CSOL membership table at Symphony concerts, hosting the Spring Membership Brunch, and strategy development.
Prior to and following each Charleston Symphony concert throughout each season, volunteers staff tables to recruit new CSOL volunteers.
Host the Wine or Coffee with the Maestro events for CSOL members and Charleston Symphony subscribers and donors. As a host, you get an insider preview of each upcoming Masterworks concert.

Volunteer to staff a recruitment table at an upcoming Charleston Symphony concert. Must be available prior to and following the concert.
