Gaillard Center Parking & Seating
At just over 1,800 seats, the Gaillard Center is a bustling place before every performance. We suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes before the lights dim to park, walk, pass through security, and find your seat.

Parking, Busses, and Ride Share
The Charleston Gaillard Center is at 95 Calhoun Street. Parking is available at 2 nearby City of Charleston garages:
- 33 Alexander St. (The “Gaillard Garage” closest to Gaillard Center)
- 24 Calhoun St. (The “Aquarium Garage” near the SC Aquarium)
NOTE:
If you are arriving via bus or ride share (like Uber or Lyft), you will be directed to use the dedicated bus/ride share lane located on George Street. This is the only location for pick-up and drop off for events at the Gaillard Center.
Please note, the parking garages do not accept cash.

The George Street and Calhoun Street entrances are handicap accessible, with handicap-accessible elevators in the shared lobby and within the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall. Handicap-accessible restrooms are available on every floor of the Charleston Gaillard Center.
Assistive Listening Devices are available in the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall. The Gaillard Center offers induction neck loops for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch. Ask your audiologist whether your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a “T” switch (telecoil) and how to use it with an assistive listening headset.
You can pick up an Assistive Listening Device at the Gaillard Center Ticket Office on the first floor of the Gaillard Center. A valid photo ID is required.

Seating
The Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall is a spacious opera house style performance space with extensive floor seating and three balconies. Give yourself enough time to make your way to your seat and get settled. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the first notes are played.
If you arrive after a performance has started, you will be seated at the first appropriate break, allowing for the least disruption for performers and seated patrons and at the discretion of house management. Select performances will not allow late seating.
