ANNOUNCING OUR 2025-2025 SEASON!
We are pleased to share another season of Music for Everyone! Step into a sanctuary of sound with the Charleston Symphony as we proudly unveil our 2024-2025 concert lineup, full of bold and captivating programs that we’ve curated just for you.
The season is filled with powerful Masterworks concerts featuring the great composers, like Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, and Rachmaninoff. We are thrilled to bring you some of the most gifted soloists and acclaimed conductors from across the globe to Charleston. We will continue to celebrate our local performing arts, from our opening night concert featuring principal oboe Kelly Mozeik to championing Charleston’s musical heritage through the Project Aurora initiative.
Here are just a few of the season’s Masterworks highlights:
- Rachmaninoff’s 3rd Piano Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, and Debussy’s La mer.
- Esteemed pianist Jeremy Denk and outstanding conductors JoAnn Falletta and José Luis Gomez
- Gustav Mahler’s epic Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” with the CSO Chorus.
- Celebrated violinists Anne Akiko Meyers and Tessa Lark and exceptional pianist George Li make their CSO debuts.
- Acclaimed maestros Hugh Wolff, Andrew Grams, Michael Francis, and Hans Graf take the podium for the first time with the CSO.
In addition, our elevated Charleston Pops series returns to bring you more uplifting performances – a night of symphonic jazz with Byron Stripling, Charleston’s favorite holiday tradition, a musical throwback to the 80s, and the memorable soundtracks from decades of iconic James Bond films.
We hope you look forward to attending our concerts as much as we look forward to seeing you in the audience. Thanks to you — subscribers and supporters of the CSO — we can continue to provide Charleston with grand music and memorable moments to last a lifetime.
