Dasha Allen, the Charleston Symphony’s seasoned Production Manager, is responsible for the magic of concert operations behind the scenes. Passionate about all things backstage, Dasha joined the CSO in 2022 and orchestrates seamless concert productions and manages our world-class guest artists while ensuring strong relationships with our venue partners including the Gaillard Center, Sottile, and more.

A violinist for over 20 years, Dasha also has a background in audio engineering and a master’s in arts administration. Her most memorable moments with the CSO include the July 4 extravaganza at the Joe and working with the pipers during Holiday Pops. When she’s not driving the CSO’s 26-foot box truck and producing concerts, you’ll find Dasha running marathons, baking, and sewing. She shares her Mount Pleasant home with her beloved 13-year-old cat, Kiska, who adds an extra dose of cuddliness to her life.
