Portrait of a Nation: America Celebrates 250
The CSO’s 2025-2026 Pops finale will be a powerful experience for the senses, combining visual and musical storytelling of American composers and artists. Be part of history as the Charleston Symphony celebrates America’s 250th birthday with the world premiere of Mary Whyte’s breathtaking watercolor collection, Salt of the Earth. This extraordinary concert pairs the stunning artistry of Whyte’s portraits—honoring the grit and spirit of everyday Americans—with a stirring orchestral performance that captures the heart of our nation.
