Chamber Music 3
Two octets, two musical worlds! Revel in the beauty of Stravinsky’s Woodwind Octet and Schubert’s String Octet for an unparalleled chamber music experience by our core members and artist-in-residence, Grammy Award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey.
Stravinsky’s Octet was inspired by a dream he had, which is evident in this whimsical and vibrant composition for winds and brass. Schubert takes us on a journey of his own in this 6-movement long work that explores the richness and lyricism of his string Octet. Be there for this dynamic evening of chamber music that explores the bounds of music!
