Evening at McLeod is a fundraising event held at McLeod Plantation Historic Site in support of the Charleston County Parks Foundation’s Cultural History Fund. Enjoy an evening featuring a beautiful musical selection from the Charleston Symphony, delicious hors d’oeuvres by Carolima’s Lowcountry Cuisine, and a spotlight on talented local African American artists.

About the Cultural History Fund
The Cultural History Fund supports the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission’s cultural and historical research, preservation, interpretation, and education for diverse audiences with an emphasis on underrepresented histories throughout Charleston County Parks. The fund is currently focusing on cultural and historical education opportunities that foster a more equitable society, by expressing a unified narrative of African American history, culture, heritage and art at McLeod Plantation Historic Site.
