SECTION: Patron Services
ROLE: Director of Patron Services

If you have ever wondered who is behind the voice you hear upon calling our office, it’s our beloved Director of Patron Services, Cindy Branch! The longest tenured staff member with the Charleston Symphony, Cindy joined the organization in the Spring of 1987 and has continued to serve the organization through thick and thin. With a wealth of experience and dedication, Cindy helps thousands of CSO patrons with individual ticket sales, season subscriptions, seating change requests, answering a range of questions, and more. If you have a favorite seat in the hall, she knows what it is, along with the name of your first grandchild!

Before joining CSO, Cindy spent eight years as an executive secretary at RM Industrial Products Company, where she met her husband, Jim. She worked at E. I. duPont for two years as a Production Scheduler and two seasons as Assistant Box Office Manager at Spoleto Festival USA.

“I’ve always felt I have the best job in the world. I’ve met world famous guest artists and conductors.  I’ve watched our musicians’ children grow from infants to young adults.  It’s so much fun talking with new patrons and welcoming them into the CSO family.  Our long-time patrons are like extended family members.  It’s a pleasure to help them any way I can.” – Cindy Branch

Born and raised in upstate New York, Cindy loved spending winters zipping down the black diamond trails at various ski resorts.  When she isn’t talking with CSO patrons, she can be found at home on James Island with a book nearby and her treasured four-year-old Maine Coon cat, Kahlua.
