The Gaillard Center, Charleston, SCCicely Parnas, Cello
The CSO presents a study in contrast of two of the greatest classical composers: Mozart’s perfectly constructed and ebullient Symphony No. 33 and Haydn’s “Il distratto” (the “absent-minded one”) with clever comedic orchestration and jokes from start to finish. Guest cellist, Cicely Parnas, will be featured on Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor.
